Facts
1) I value quality over quantity.
2) I grew up in a small farm town in northern Ohio.
3) For as long as I can remember, I've had an overactive imagination, and an insatiable appetite for both exotic foods, and books and movies.
4) One goal of mine this year is to actually get something posted. Whether or not I'll achieve this is another story . . .
5) I didn't have anyone's idea of a "happy childhood", but I've moved on. Sure it sucked, I have too many good things going for me right now to let them get to me.
6) Despite what my username implies, I have never, and will never watch any of the Friday the 13th films. The sight of blood makes me squeamish, and I can't stomach the more graphic slasher films.
7) My username was thought of "spur-of-the-moment" so to speak, as I was having a REALLY rough time, and wanted a username I thought "cool".
8) I really like to laugh, and make others laugh as well. I find certain aspects too dark to take seriously, and always try to find a humorous spin to them. Light comedy is good, too.

Facts:
1. I speak fluent South Walian (but know my share of Northern). Yes there are at least 2 different dialects of Welsh, three if you count the amphetamine-fuelled hyper-dialect of the west.
2. I have too many video games, that I have yet to complete. Hence the counter at the bottom of the Journal. My target is 50 for the year
3. I love ducks. I think they're awesome. I'm fairly certain they think they own the world, and we're the primitive animals that don't live in water. I don't know, I just get that vibe about them.
4. I used to play the Violin; got up to grade 4 with distinctions. I still think I sucked at it though. Now I just pick up random wind instruments, with the intent to learn them... Harmonica, Ocarina, Pan Pipes, Xiou (I think, might be confusing it with something else)
5. I look down on web developers who use Dreamweaver, or similar tools. Notepad or nothin', baby
6. I'm not a family kind of guy. My brothers miss home, I do not, yet I'm the one my Mum and Dad feel the need to visit every bloody month. Which is odd, because I'm actually looking forward to starting my own family.
7. My fetishes motivate everything I do, have done, will do. I'm now software developer because I had to come up with crafty ways of getting my "fix" from the internet, after my Parents refused to let me on it more than once a day. I'm ashamed to admit the first "spyware" they encountered in 1995 was probably one of mine to steal the Dial-up password
8. I've lost a stone and a half in weight in 10 months, doing nothing but eating breakfast, a big lunch, then I've generally too full to eat tea. Whereas before I'd skip breakfast, have a small lunch, then a big teal; I'm still eating everything I want to eat. I've been pigging out lately, because there's no point having the best weight-loss solution if I waste away! My Girlfriend has had similar success
